Have you already noticed the effects of the so-called ‘global warming’ in your region or country? Here in Provence I have not yet. The last two winters were very snowy in the mountains and this year’s trend seems the same with already a thick white coat on Mount Ventoux.
Albion plateau, which July turns blue is to-day sprinkled with snow.
On its spur, Sault (see HERE), the little capital of this quiet and engaging countryside, doesn’t want to miss a single sun beam.
Here is Aurel village seen from the south. Click THERE to see almost the same view in summer.
Arriving in Aurel from the GR91C path.
This is nearly the same view. The thin white layer lets us notice the Roman-tiled roofs.
Two hours later, at sunset, little snow remains around Sault. You can behold Lure mountain on the right, in the background (see THERE). Huberaime
